~ One Woman at a Time ~
Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—
Ephesians 3:20 (HCSB)
Do you have days when you feel “less than”? Less than competent, suited or skilled? The goals and the practical needs of day-to-day seem impossible to accomplish and you wonder if you are capable of walking on this path. The ground feels shaky and you doubt if you have what it takes to accomplish all God has trusted you with.
Perhaps Jesus has rooted deep desires in your heart but you feel uncertain of the ground beneath your feet. Life can seem overwhelming when your dreams are full and you are walking in new territory without training, experience, or know-how.
Believe me, I know. I have big dreams for me, and for you.
I have days when it takes all the faith and trust I can muster to extend my foot and plant it in the next step. I hold tight to where I am and I stretch as far as I can without completely shifting my weight. I want to test the strength of the ground that is underneath before I establish myself so I can be sure it will not give way.
Jesus tells me, “You are never less than. With Me, you are always more than.”
His overflowing grace toward me provides every skill, requirement, training and equipping to excel in the journey-call ahead. Scripture says He protects me from stumbling and establishes my feet on solid ground. In His power I am capable of doing more than I could ever ask or think.
God’s power is more than sufficient to accomplish ideas and plans I cannot even express or desire. His capacity is beyond my wildest dreams and imagination.
The thought makes me drop to my knees.
Beautiful Sparrow, if you are struggling with taking the next step, please hear what Jesus is saying to you. God wants you to know that His strength-abilities make you more than equipped, suited, and skilled to accomplish what lies ahead. He wants you to know that He is capable of more than anything you can envision or dream for your life. He will never give way beneath your feet; you are more than established on solid ground.
Jesus, I want to walk in confidence knowing I am more than because of Your power in me. Fill me with the security of knowing You have established my feet on solid ground and that You will never give way. I want to move forward in assurance of the capabilities that are more than I could ever dream or imagine. For all the steps ahead, I give all glory and honor to You. Amen.
Do you feel like you are “less than” in any area of your life? If so, where?
Do you believe that God’s power is more than enough to cover and accomplish this struggle in your life?
