~ One Woman at a Time ~
“Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7 (HCSB)
So how does your day look, today? Is it filled with commitments, at work, school, online, or at home? Are you running head down from one errand to the next; working against the clock to get it all done?
I can easily get lost in the to-do and not see the one.
Jesus is showing me that no matter where I am, there is a soul that He loves. If I am shopping at the store, sitting in the restaurant, filling up at the gas station, there is a woman who needs to know He sees her.
And how does she know He sees her? Because I see her.
Wherever you find yourself, Jesus has arranged a divine appointment for you and if you ask and search He will faithfully open your eyes. She will catch your eye and He will give you words that speak life into her dry bones. He will open the door to her heart and you will see her, as He sees her; one in need of encouragement, strength, and hope.
Jesus, in His sovereign power, has orchestrated every moment of our day for His glory.
It is easy to walk through the day with eyes closed to the ministry that is standing right in front of us. Life can become crowded and rushed as the phone buzzes, emails pile up, and texts take on a sense of urgency. I know.
I am learning to turn that phone off, search, and ask.
Will you look for His divine appointment today and ask God to open the door to another woman’s heart? I promise He will be faithful and give it to you.
Jesus, help me to see the woman right in front of me that is in need of Your encouragement. Remind me, when I am pressed on every side, that you have orchestrated my day for Your glory. I ask that you give me a spirit of discipline to bind the distractions and look for the one who needs to know she is not alone. Amen.
I pray you Live Like You Know …where you are going.
