~ One Woman at a Time~
Indeed, God is my salvation; I will trust Him and not be afraid,
for Yah, the Lord, is my strength and my song.
He has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:2 (HCSB)
This is for the days when you don’t know what is ahead and you can’t see around the corner. When you imagine the possibilities but fear the unknown. When you stand at the door of the day and you know, deep in your soul, that there is something more in that unknown. It’s an undisclosed place of God’s will; one of surprise and power and life-changing direction.
You can’t see it but you sense its possibilities and you can’t hear it but you feel God’s tug on your heart. And all it takes is a head bowed low and a quiet, “yes” to step, surrendered, into that something more.
And what is that something more? It is life – eternal life. No matter where you are and where you go, it is always about the forever future with God. It’s about the life that breathes hope and promise and forever-healing to hearts broken. It is about life-given. A Savior for a person; an unfair exchange of hope and promise and healing for desperate, broken souls. It’s been given to you, Beautiful Sparrow – given to you so you can give it to someone else.
Yes, you are provided the skills to accomplish the day-to-day, but you’ve also been equipped for the eternal work of soul-to-soul.
Where do you sense God calling you in this new season of life? Is it being the compassionate Christ-hands and Christ-feet to your immediate family, or church, or community? Or is it going to an unknown people in an unfamiliar place? Wherever your something more is, Jesus is there. And because the Eternal Life Himself is waiting for you, you don’t need to be afraid. You can give that yes and take that surrendered step with blessed assurance that the something more is good and wonderful and beyond your wildest dreams.
You do not need to be afraid because there is no punishment in Jesus; only forgiveness grace and mercy.
The reason He came is the same reason He calls. The eternal promise of heaven that came to give you hope, is hope working in you. He is a constant perpetuation of Himself and He chooses to continue Himself through you.
Are you sensing God calling you to unknown territory? If so, will you bow your heart with humility, surrender the step, and go? Let go of the fear and walk into that place where Jesus is. Be a part of His eternal life plan and watch, with anticipation, the something more unfold.
Jesus, help me to let go of fear of the unknown. Give me a heart that remembers who You are; a God of hope and grace and mercy and goodness and kindness. Give me eyes to see that You are, and are in, the something more and that you are waiting for me. Remind me that everything is about eternal life and the hope of glory; the One that is already been sealed to me. It’s in Jesus I pray. Amen.
Are you searching for a place to serve? Are you feeling a tug on your heart for an unfamiliar people, in an unfamiliar place? If so, would you consider praying for and investing your resources with The Seed Company? Will you pray and see if your something more is in ending Bible Poverty?
I pray you Live Like You Know …where you are going.
Strength to strength,
