I have been in the thick of ministry which means I am walking under the beautiful weight of God. Because the Lord is at work – sharing His message, to His children, in His timing there are obstacles the enemy wants to put in front of me.
When I share a message on having a heavenly perspective, I can be enticed to turn thoughts inward. When I speak on having the joy of salvation, I can be lured into the lies that bring my heart low. If giving a Word on strength in numbers, you can be sure Satan will want me to feel lonely.
I have learned to expect these attacks but my friend, Debbie Somjack of Unfolded Hearts Ministry; A ministry dedicated to equipping, encouraging, and teaching, has taught me that I do not have to receive them.
Scripture tells us we have an enemy in this world and his sole purpose is to stop God’s message of hope.
You see, the enemy can’t kill us because we have eternal life.
He cannot steal us because we are sealed in forever-salvation.
He cannot destroy us because:
When you feel yourself becoming distracted from the good thing God has prepared for you to do, recognize it for what it is, and do not receive it. Say the Lord’s name out-loud, “Jesus” and tell that enemy to flee. Move forward with the confidence of knowing what the Savior has started in you, Will. Be. completed!
Jesus, I call out Your name and speak its power over my work. I know that I have overcome the world and nothing can stand against me. I recognize the lies and harassment of the enemy and I do not receive it. I claim Your Word and the strength You provide, through grace, that is more than sufficient for my calling. You alone are God. Amen.
I pray you Live Like You Know …where you are going.
Strength to strength,
