There are days I feel full and I give in out of the overflow. Others can leave me feeling worn, weary and dry. I am glad that my feelings are not reliable to the Truth God gives; that He is always near and is always providing all that I need.
I must choose to trust His plan and His timing, knowing my labor is not in vain. It’s always in weakness that I serve – an emptying of all that I do, and do not, have; a holding on, to the resurrection life that’s in me and is to come.
The Lord tells us not to weary in doing what’s good –
The Savior says to stand firm and give ourselves fully to Him. Our ministry, whether at home, the office, through the church, or in our every day is an extension of His grace given not only to the recipient, but to ourselves. And when we can wear ministry as a gift to us, we can keep heart.
Lord, help me to receive the Truth of Your Word that ministry is Your personal gift to me. When I grow weary, and feel spent, remind me that You are always near and that it is through Your grace and mercy that all is given and received.
I pray you Live Like You Know …where you are going.
Strength to Strength,
