Christian Mama,

Proverbs 8 tells us about the wisdom of God Who knows all things and shares them with His people when He decides it’s right. Soloman celebrates wisdom as the most beautiful person and he invites us to know her and become acquainted with her. Scripture tells us that Jesus, is the wisdom of God.

Proverbs 8:30 speaks about wisdom like this, Then I was constantly at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence,

Christian mamas strive to give God’s wisdom to their children, no matter their age. With an understanding heart, and willingness to receive Truth in love, heavenly wisdom and insight are valued more than silver and gold (Proverbs 16:16) The good news is, Jesus is present with us always and He will impart what He wants us to know. All we have to do is ask. God says “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” What an opportunity we have to influence those we love!

When our children are under trials and struggles we need to go to God first. Then He, who knows every detail and angle of our child’s circumstance, will share what He wants to make known.  How lovely it is when we, and our children, walk with insight from God! There is no greater delight when we are in tandem with the Lord Himself and we rejoice from being in harmony with His knowledge and presence.

Christian Mama, are you in need of God’s wisdom for your child in marriage, finances, work or anything else? Start with prayer and God’s Word. Search your topic in a Bible search such as BibleGateway. As you begin to read verses, write down what stands out most in your heart. Can you see a pattern or direction God is giving you? If so, lovingly share your findings with your child.
